LONG ISLAND, NY — Six days of sunshine, that's what the doctor ordered.
"Whenever possible, try to get outside during daylight hours and expose yourself to sun. Sunlight, even in small doses, can help boost serotonin and improve your mood. Our chance for sequential sunshine starts Saturday, after the latest system dumps more rain on Long Island.

Still, AccuWeather meteorologists are skeptical.

There will be more chances for snow as spring gets underway, they said.
"The window of opportunity for snowstorms in the East will remain open through the first half of March, bringing the chance of plowable snow and providing a nice boost to ski resorts across the region," said Brian Lada, AccuWeather meteorologist and staff writer.
