Sephora Celebrates Grand Opening At Deer Park Tanger

DEER PARK, NY — Cosmetics retailer Sephora opened its doors Friday at Deer Park Tanger Outlets, the shopping center announced.

The new 5,000-square-foot store will celebrate with grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m., according to a Tanger representative.

“Sephora's arrival reinforces our commitment to elevating and diversifying the selection of brands at Tanger Deer Park,” said Amaka Muir, Tanger Deer Park Marketing Director. “We know our shoppers are hungry for the latest trends in beauty and wellness, and Sephora leads the category, offering an unparalleled and aspirational beauty experience with a comprehensive suite of price points and products.”

Deer Park's Tanger is one of five new locations the beauty product giant is expanding its presence to. The beauty product retailer is also opening new stores in Tangers in Charleston, South Carolina; National Harbor, Maryland; Palm Beach, Florida; and Phoenix/Glendale, Arizona.

Prior to the expansion, Sephora has had only one existing location at Tanger's Bridge Street Town Center in Huntsville, Alabama, which was already in operation when Tanger acquired the center in late 2023.

According to Tanger's newsroom, the outlet is expanding its beauty offerings as part of its strategy to diversify with categories beyond apparel and footwear, including home furnishings, food and beverage and entertainment.

Tanger has leased nearly 200,000 square feet of new-to-portfolio brands since January 2023, as it aims to attract "younger and more affluent shoppers" to its locations, according to press release.
