Belmont Lake State Park Spring Egg Hunt Set For Saturday

Local families can enjoy the 20th annual Easter egg hunt on March 23 at the New York State park.

The 20th Annual Spring Egg Hunt at Belmont Lake State Park is scheduled for Saturday, March 23.

Egg hunts will be every 15 minutes, beginning at 12:15 pm. Children will be hunting for eggs in three groups:

  • Ages four and younger.
  • Ages five and six.
  • Ages seven to nine.

This event is co-sponsored by radio stations WBAB (102.3FM) and WBLI (106.1FM), and the Natural Heritage Trust.

In addition to the hunt, there'll be a petting zoo, temporary tattoos, pony rides, environmental crafts, a visit by the Easter Bunny and more.

All activities are free.
