Talk Back: Readers Have Their Say

We asked questions about alcohol consumption on Long Island and the Supreme Court's decision on Obamacare.

This week, readers of Deer Park-North Babylon Patch had a chance to offer their thoughts on two hot topics: one local and one national.

On the local level, we asked readers if they thought there was an as a follow up to the tragic accident that took the life of Lindenhurst teen Sunday evening. Michael Grasing of Babylon is charged with driving while intoxicated and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said Grasing had a blood alcohol level of .30.

In our poll, 80 percent of respondents said they felt additional law enforcement was needed to deal with the problem. Only 20 percent felt the recent tragedies were isolated incidents.
