Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mr. Shingler has made a huge impact on my child’s life. My child is in high school now, but he still recognizes every one of his students and is always happy to see them and is genuinely interested in how and what they are doing. He’s such an important teacher in our community.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

He is patient and kind to every student. He is always looking out for what is best for the individual child as well as the whole class. All the kids years later still talk about all his magic tricks.
