BABYLON, NY — Town of Babylon residents are set to head to the polls on June 24, when they will cast their vote in the Republican primary race for the 14th Legislative District.
Shawn S. Cullinane and Richard J. Renna are vying for the seat.
Incumbent Legislator Kevin McCaffrey is stepping down at the end of 2025 due to term limits.

Renna, the GOP’s chosen candidate, currently serves as a Lindenhurst Village trustee and as deputy mayor. He was born and raised in Lindenhurst and currently works for Appco Group USA.
Cullinane, a longtime Lindenhurst resident and attorney, serves as a Village of Brightwaters court prosecutor and spent nearly 30 years as the Village of Lindenhurst's clerk treasurer.
