Town Of Babylon Accepting Donations For Hurricane Helene Victims
Babylon Town Hall and Adams Realty are accepting donations to help Asheville, North Carolina residents suffering Hurricane Helene damage.

BABYLON, NY — The Long Island community is rallying to help those affected by Hurricane Helene by donating food and other goods to those in need via Hope Floats and the Town of Babylon until Friday.
Helene not only damaged coastal areas that routinely see impacts from hurricanes but also devastated mountainous areas like western North Carolina on an unprecedented level. CNN reported 56 deaths in North Carolina, 30 in South Carolina, 25 in Georgia, 11 in Florida, four in Tennessee and two in Virginia. Hundreds more are missing, as emergency relief has not reached all residents in need.
As the residents of Buncombe County work to rebuild their lives, Suffolk County residents have the chance to help by dropping items off at Babylon Town Hall and at Century 21 Adams Realty Main Street in Babylon by Friday, Oct. 11.
