1. An 18 year old man was in critical condition after being shot in the head outside the M&M Grocery Store at 1854 Nostrand Ave. in Flatbush on Saturday. Police say they are looking for two men seen running from the scene. (amNY)
2. A Schneps Media podcast dives deep into New York City's Caribbean communities, which are the epitome of cultural diversity, according to the reporting. That's because of the variety of cultures — from Haiti to Guyana to Jamaica — that are represented, and because many Caribbean-Americans describe themselves a multi-cultural on Census forms.
