70th Precinct Bulletin: Bank Robbery Suspect Sought

Cops seek man involved in multiple bank robberies

Cops are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for a series of bank robberies in and around Ditmas Park. 

On Monday, May 21 just after 9 a.m. the suspect attempted to rob an HSBC Bank on Flatbush Avenue and passed a noted to the teller demanding cash but fled before he received any. No one was hurt.

That same day at 2:40 p.m., the suspect entered a Sovereign Bank at Newkirk Plaza and passed a noted to the teller demanding cash. He fled with an undetermined amount of money.
 
The suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 35-years-old, standing between 6-foot and 6-foot-3 and weighing between 240 and 260 pounds.

He also has a goatee and was wearing clear plastic gloves during both incidents.
