B35 Bus Route to Experience Diversions

The B35 bus route will be detoured for a year beginning this October, according to a release from Assemblywoman Rhoda Jacobs.

From Oct. 1, 2012 through Oct. 1, 2013, scheduled construction on Church Ave. between Flatbush and Rogers Avenues will cause eastbound buses to diverge from their regular route by turning left onto Flatbush Avenue, then right onto Linden Boulevard, a right onto Nostrand Avenue, and another left onto Church Avenue before continuing the line's normal route.

Westbound buses will take their regular route via Church Avenue to Rogers Avenue, make a right onto Rogers Avenue, left onto Linden Boulevard, continue to Caton Avenue, a left onto Flatbush Avenue, a right onto Church Avenue and then continue its regular route.

Temporarily eliminated eastbound bus stops are:

• Church Avenue between Flatbush Avenue and Bedford Avenue
• Church Avenue between Rogers Avenue and Lloyd Street

Instead, for eastbound bus stops, wait at Church Avenue between East 21st Street and Flatbush Avenue, Linden Boulevard between Bedford Avenue and Rogers Avenue, Linden Boulevard between Rogers Avenue and Nostrand Avenue, and Nostrand Avenue between Linden Boulevard and Martense Street.

Temporarily eliminated westbound bus stops are:

• Church Avenue between Rogers Avenue and Bedford Avenue
• Church Avenue between Bedford Avenue and Flatbush Avenue

Instead, for eastbound bus stops wait at Rogers Avenue between Church Avenue and Martense Street, and Caton Avenue between Bedford Avenue and Caton Place.
