A Book for Those Young Adults

Any young adult that hasn't been made to read J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye by now should take it upon themselves to do so. Another timeless classic, it details the two days in the life of 16-year-old Holden Caulfield after he has been expelled from prep school. Although written in 1951, the themes and messages of the novel hold true to this day.

A Chart Topper

Everyone is raving about Gone Girl: A Novel, the latest thriller by Gillian Flynn. After a woman dissapears on her fifth wedding anniversary, her husband quickly becomes the prime suspect. Flynn alternates between the perspective of husband and wife, creating an unreliable and increasingly nerve-wracking narrative, and one that this Editor cannot wait to read.
