Brooklyn Pimp Named 'Legit Pimp' Employed Children As Prostitutes: Court

Brooklyn resident and alleged child pimp Alvaun Thompson, 28, was arraigned in Brooklyn federal court this week on charges of child sex trafficking and producing child pornography, among other crimes.

Thompson went by the names ”AT,” “LP,” ”Love Pimpin” and ”Legit Pimp,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

During his years as a pimp, Thompson recruited at least three minors to become his regular prostitutes and perform ”commercial sex acts,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced on Friday.

“The defendant regularly promoted and managed his prostitution business over the Internet and on two occasions transported his victims to other States intending for them to engage in prostitutions,” according to a court press release.

An FBI investigation found that one of Thompson’s girls was only 13 years old when he began pimping her out.

Investigators say they found a video on his confiscated cellphone of the 13-year-old performing oral sex on him.

The victim’s face “is clearly visible in the recording,” the U.S. Attorney’s indictment says — and the lower abdomen and genitals of the man receiving the oral sex ”are consistent with the defendant’s lower abdomen and genitals, which are visible, along with the defendant’s face, in other visible recordings stored on the LGG Cellular Telephone.”

In a phone call that Thompson made from jail, he and the young teen told each other, ”I love you,” according to the indictment.

The FBI believes that two more of Thompson’s victims were 16 and 17 at the time he pimped them out.

NYPD investigators have had their eye on Thompson ever since he was arrested in the Bronx and jailed on Rikers Island for robbery in 2013. Police later determined that Thompson and ”multiple co-conspirators” had stolen property from a sex client who hadn’t paid for his prostitute.

Then, in the months after Thompson was released from jail, cops say they linked multiple underage prostitutes and prostitution ads to the Brooklyn pimp — via phone numbers he had given them back at Rikers.

A multi-agency investigation determined that he had photographed the 13-year-old, 16-year-old and 17-year-old and featured them in ads on the notorious ”escort” website Backpage.com.

In one ad, titled ”special special special come get it... chocolate cakes n bubbles,” Thompson’s two older girls were allegedly pictured wearing only underwear and kissing each other. Again, officials say, the girls’ faces were fully visible in the images.

If convicted, Thompson is looking at 15 years to life in prison.
