CB 14 Holds October Monthly Meeting Monday

Community Board 14 will meet Mon., Oct. 15, for its general meeting at P.S. 249, otherwise known as the Caton School, at Caton Avenue and Marlborough Road. 

At 7:15 p.m., a public hearing will be held on CB 14’s proposed recommendations for the City’s Capital and Expense Budgets for Fiscal Year 2014.

Proposed budget priority recommendations will be available for review on the CB14 website and on the evening of the hearing.

Then, at 7:30 p.m., the regular meeting will discuss budget priorities and special permit recommendations. The human services, youth services, transportation, community environment, public safety and the education, libraries and cultural affairs committees will also review their reports and items. 

The task force on the revitalization of the Junction Area will also review their reports and items. 

The meeting is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend.
