UPDATE: Con Ed to Work on Marlborough Rd. Through End of Sept.

Expect to see the familiar blue and white trucks around the neighborhood through the end of the summer.

 

Update: Thursday, August 1, 12:04 p.m.: A spokesperson for Con Edison has confirmed that crews will be working specifically on the corner of Marlborough and Cortelyou Roads until the end of September.

A Con Edison truck was spotted Tuesday afternoon in Ditmas park working in a man hole. Due to the work Marlborough Road between Cortelyou and Beverly Roads, was closed.

Vehicles were unable to enter the street, as the truck and nearby work blocked the entry of the street.

A spokesperson for Con Ed noted that crews will continue to be seen throughout the neighborhood as they work "on equipment that will improve the reliability of the area."

The scheduled completion date of this project is set for the end of September, but the spokesperson could not provide a more specific date.
