Cortelyou Sports Camp Now Accepting Sign-ups

The Cortelyou Early Childhood Center is gearing up to offer a sports camp program this summer to local children ages 3-15. 

The center was inspired to create the sports camp by First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" Campaign, a federal initiative to stop childhood obesity in America, according to a release. 

The sports camp program will include activities such as basketball, cheerleading, flag football, soccer, swimming and volleyball. "This will keep our campers outdoors all summer long," the release said.
