Ditmas Park Fire Tears Through Local Hardware Store

DITMAS PARK, BROOKLYN — Dozens of firefighters were struggling to beat back a fire inside Ditmas Park hardware store Lucky Hardware around 6 p.m. Monday evening.
The fire broke out at 5:23 p.m. at 834 McDonald Ave, located near Avenue F and directly across from the F Train tracks, according to the Fire Department of New York (FDNY).
Sixty-five firefighters responded to the scene, an FDNY spokesman said.
No injuries were immediately reported.
