Ditmas Park to Participate in National Night Out Against Crime

Join the community at the Prospect Park Parade Grounds for the 29th annual National Night Out Against Crime on Aug. 7.
National Night Out is a night dedicated to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, according a release from the 70th Precinct.
The night is also meant to generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs.

Police officers will be present in an effort to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
The night is also meant to a message to criminals, letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back, according a release from the 70th Precinct.

The event will take place from 6:30-9 p.m. at Caton Avenue and Argyle Road.
