Ditmas Parkers Pen Musical to Debut Friday

The first live performance of songs from Trashed Out, a musical film inspired by Exiles in Eden, hits The Stone Sept. 28.

 

Two Ditmas Park residents will soon see their names in light when their musical work hits the big stage in Manhattan this week.

Songs from Ditmas Parkers Roy Nathanson and Lloyd Miller's Trashed Out, a musical film inspired by Paul Reyes' Exiles in Eden, a novel centered on Florida's housing crisis in Florida, will debut at The Stone on Friday, Sept. 28.

Dubbed "Trashed Out Tunes," the show will be held at 10 p.m. and will feature vocalists Lloyd Miller and Sandra Lilia Velasquez, as well as the Jazz Passengers, Arturo O'Farrill, Zack O'Farrill and Josh Roseman. 

The Stone is located on the corner of Ave. C and 2nd Street.
