DOE Creates Resources to Address Special Education Reform

Resources are ready for families with questions about the expansion of the special education reform initiative going into effect in Sept.

The NYC Department of Education (DOE) is making resources available to address special education reform.

The DOE Division of Students with Disabilities and English Language Learners has made additional resources ready for families with questions about the citywide expansion of the special education reform initiative that will go into effect this coming September.

Under this initiative, efforts will be made to enroll students with special needs in their zoned community school.
