Explore the History of Thanksgiving with the Farm on Adderley
'Historic gastronomist' Sarah Lohman will host a meal inspired by the culinary traditions behind Thanksgiving.

The Farm on Adderley is hosting a night exploring the culinary history of Thanksgiving Tuesday, Nov. 13, where participants can learn of the origins of the holiday's staples while enjoying them.
Hosted by "historic gastronomist" Sarah Lohman American Cookery: Dinner & Culinary History of Thanksgiving will begin at 7:30 p.m. Lohman will discuss how American history shaped the traditions and foods we eat.

"From gravy to green bean casserole, mashed potatoes to pumpkin pie, Sarah will trace our most-loved foods back to their original recipes and shed light on how the traditions we know and love came to be," the restaurant's website says.
