Who says you can't learn and have fun at the same time? Every Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m., kids can try out engaging arts and crafts that combine outdoor nature play at the Audubon Center in Prospect Park. This is appropriate for kids of all ages.

Take a look at how life was lived in 1820s Brooklyn. The second floor of the Lefferts Historic House has rooms set up with furniture and other artifacts of the period, so visitors can get a glimpse of the past, when the area was a Dutch farming village. Tours are given every half hour.

And of course, a day in is always fun! After spending some time in arts & crafts and touring the Lefferts House, take a walk and enjoy the nice weather.
