  • Join cyclists from the neighborhood Friday at 7 p.m. for the weekly Ditmas Rides. The purpose is purely for a fun, relaxing group ride through Ditmas Park's streets and there is no planned route; it's decided upon before each ride. Those interested should gather in front of the Cortelyou Library. To be added to the emailing list, click here.
  • Bring your compostable food waste to the Flatbush Reformed Church Community Garden at 11 a.m. on Saturday, where Sustainable Flatbush will add them to their compost bins. The compost site is located behind the church, on East 21st Street between Kenmore Terrace and Church Avenue. For more information about the composting site and what you can compost, visit the Sustainable Flatbush website.
