Group Looks for Volunteers to Build Tree Guards

Campus Road Trees will continue its work to care for street trees.

 

Campus Road Trees, a community group committed to caring for street trees along Campus Rd., is looking for volunteers to help build tree guards. 

Organizer Victoria Gagliano said volunteers are needed for a series of dates, including, Fri., Oct. 5 from 12-4 p.m.; Sat., Oct. 6 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Sat., Oct. 13 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

All tools, gloves and bottled water will be provided, and volunteers should wear clothes than can get dirty. The Meeting point is outside the Brooklyn College Garden located on Campus Road between Ave. H and East 21 St.

The group previously gathered in September to complete its first tree guard of the season.
