Jobs in Ditmas Park: Medical Assistant Needed

Many organizations in and around Ditmas Park are looking to hire, including an Orthopedic Practice and a pet sitting company. Take a look: 

• An "extremely busy" orthopedic practice is seeking a full-time, flexible, certified and experienced medical assistant. Duties include but are not limited to imaging/procedure authorizations; directing of patient flow; cast/suture removal; and any other aspects clinical or administrative as needed.

• A pet sitting company in nearby Flatbush is seeking pet visitors to add to its team to look after animals in Ditmas Park, Midwood, Kensington and Prospect Park South. 

Visits range from three to 14 days and visitors provide feeding, walking, litter box scooping, plant watering and mail pickup while clients travel. Vistors usually look in on dogs twice a day between 7-9 a.m. and 7-9 p.m., while visitors typically look in on cats once a day for 30 minutes.

Requirements include the ability to make a six-month commitment to the position; availability in both the morning and evening; and availability to work the Thanksgiving holiday period, Christmas eve and Christmas day, and New Year's Eve and New Year's day. Learn more about this position, including how to apply, here.
