Lark Cafe to Host Events
From sing-alongs to tips on buying your first home, the cafe will be hosting guests who know it all.

As promised, kid-friendly Lark Cafe will be hosting a series of events this week ranging from sing-alongs to educational events on saving for college to how to inspect a prospective home. Here's what to expect at the cafe:
Tuesday, July 31 at 10 a.m. head to the silly sing-along with Mike Gold, where admission is suggested at $10.

At 1 p.m. head to the hour-long, free ReWorking Parents Salon with Rachael Ellison. Here, parents can get together, laugh about the craziness of balancing it all, provide support and feedback, and learn tips about managing work and life. This week's topic, "having it all," will explore all that people want in life as parents and as individuals.
On Wednesday, Aug. 1 from 7-8:30 p.m. head to Saving for College and other Family Financial Questions, where local dad Ethan Friedman will talk about financial planning for families. Now that you have kids, should you start at 529 plan? What else should you be doing to save for the future and instill good financial values in yourself and your children?
