Morning Tip: Local Sales in the Neighborhood

There will be a tag sale at the corner of Cortelyou Road and East 17 Street from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. today.

There will be kids clothes for ages 0-3 years-old, toys, an easel, kids' books, puzzles, a rocking horse, a tricycle, kitchenware, womens' and mens' clothes and plenty of books.

A rain date is scheduled for Sunday.

There is also a stoop book sale at 140 8th street between 2 nd and 3rd Avenues from 12-5 p.m. 

Almost a thousand books will be available for the taking, inlcuding fiction, non-fiction and some kids' books. Previous owners include book designers for Knopf, Random House, Vintage, Pocket Book and many others. Many are first editions or limited printings.

There are also some toys, household items, kitchenware, collectibles and electronics. There are also solid oak bookcases available.

All offers will be seriously considered.
