Morning Tip: SAFE Disposal Event Sunday

Sunday, May 6, head to Prospect Park to dispose of harmful products safely during the NYC Department of Sanitation's SAFE disposal event. 

From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., New York City residents can dispose of potentially harmful household prodcuts at Park Circle, located on Parkside Avenue and Prospect Park SW.  

If automotive products, cleaners, certain paints, and pesticides are improperly discarded, sanitation workers can suffer eye, respiratory, and burn injuries. In addition, chemicals from these products can pollute the water, soil, and air.
