Cops are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for a series of bank robberies in and around Ditmas Park.

On Saturday, April 28 just before 10:30 a.m. the suspect robbed a Chase Bank on Avenue J by passing a note to a teller demanding cash while displaying a firearm. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an unknown amount of cash.
Before that, on Thursday, April 5 at 12:45 p.m. the suspect robbed an HSBC on Flatlands Avenue by passing a note to a teller demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an unknown amount of cash.

No one was hurt in either instance.
The suspect is described as a black male between 35 and 40-years-old, standing around 6-foot and weighing approximately 220 pouds.
