Share Your Flatbush Frolic Pictures!

The 36th annual street fair took place Sun., Sept. 16 on Cortelyou Rd. between Ocean and Coney Island Avenues.

 

The Flatbush Frolic, the 36th annual street fair filled with food, rides and treats for all ages, hit Ditmas Park on Sun., Sept. 16. from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Cortelyou Rd. between Ocean and Coney Island Avenues. 

Bands performed throughout the day, and members of the Latin Fever Dance Studio performed as well as taught passers by how to dance.

The Midwood Martial Arts hosted a "just for kids program" by the Lt. Federico Narvaez Tot Lot on the corner of Argyle Road, teaching children self defense techniques, and an FDNY Mobile Fire Safety Experience or “Smoke House” trailer was set up to give children and adults a chance to practice fire evacuation techniques.  

The North Shore Animal League partnered with Sean Casey Animal Rescue and brought animals to the block that were available for adoption. Sustainable Flatbush hosted a Renewable Energy Exhibition with activities including the SunBike, Solar Oven and a solar powered hydroponic garden.
