Warming Center to Open in Midwood on Sunday

With temperatures expected to drop into the 30s Saturday night, the city has opened warming centers in the five boroughs. But only one will open in Brooklyn, and it will only be open on Sunday.

The Council Center for Senior Citizens, located at 1001 Quentin Road between E. 10th Street and Coney Island Avenue, will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday for anyone who wants to get out of the cold.
