Every Friday, Ditmas Park Patch will give a tip on what's going on for the upcoming weekend. Here's this week's:

 

Join cyclists from the neighborhood Friday at 7 p.m. for the weekly . The purpose is purely for a fun, relaxing group ride through Ditmas Park's streets and there is no planned route; it's decided upon before each ride. Celebrate Brooklyn is in full swing with by Keb Mo and Natalia Zukerman Friday at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Bring your compostable food waste to the at 11 a.m., where Sustainable Flatbush will add them to their compost bins. The compost site is located behind the church, on East 21 Street between Kenmore Terrace and Church Avenue.

 

Birdwatchers of all ages and experience--kids included--can in Prospect Park every Saturday to get a crash-course on how to spot our feathered friends.

 

On Sunday shop for produce and more at the . Beginning at 8 a.m. in front of the Cortelyou Library, vendors sell a range of products, including fruits and vegetables, cheese, eggs, turkey, mushrooms, bread, fish and more.
