Take advantage of the many musical festivals and fun activities occurring in and around Ditmas Park this weekend.

Every Friday, Ditmas Park Patch will give a tip on what's going on for the upcoming weekend. Here's this week's:
The weekend has finally come! The Great GoogaMooga food, drink and music festival in Prospect Park is this Saturday and Sunday. The Roots, Hall & Oates, Fitz & the Tantrums and Ditmas Park's own .
General admission was free but tickets sold out fast, so if you're one of the lucky ones with a pass, have fun!
If you were unable to snag tickets for GoogaMooga, head to Parkside Plaza, an outdoor plaza in front of the Parkside Avenue Train Station, for Arts and Culture Fest, a production of The Creative Side.
Arts and Culture Fest featuring artists, crafters, and designers will introduce musicians and artists every third Saturday this summer, beginning this Saturday at 2 p.m. Local artist Lisa Roma will introduce three musical acts; Paul DeCoster; Rob Darnell; and the Poetic Notion Experience.

“The partnership with the fest will enable local artists to interact and share their talent with the community and expand the circle of mutual appreciation and love," Roma said in a release.
Two Cotswold, three Babydolls and three Jacobs four-horned sheep will get their annual haircuts this weekend at the Prospect Park Zoo’s annual Fleece Fest this Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m.
The barn-wide haircut, which takes at the Prospect Park Zoo and Lefferts Historic House, includes a demonstrations of felt making, finger-knitting and how wool is made into yarn.

In addition to the shearing of Duggan, Wallace, Bonnie and the zoo’s other five sheep, and craft activities, there will be a "Barnyard Hoedown" with country music.
Shred your personal documents for free at the City’s 5th annual Shred Fest this Sunday from 10 a.m.- 4p.m. Free personal paper shredders, donated by Staples, will be given to the first four people to arrive at each location. All participants will receive identity theft prevention tips.
The even is free, open to the public and being held in Prospect Park at Prospect Park West and 3rd Street, as well as at the Flatbush Nostrand Junction at Flatbush Avenue and Hillel Place, near the Municipal Credit Union.

After a long weekend of music and fun, unwind with Beatle's Yoga with Kenzie Pause on Sunday from 5-6:16 p.m. at Midwood Martial Arts and Family Fitness Center. Adults, teens and older children can strike a pose to the music of the Fab Four. The even is $16 per person, or use your MMA and FFC class package plus pay the difference.
