Free Movies In New York: Brookfield Place Is Screening Free Movies

Looking for a free flick to escape the cold? Brookfield Place in lower Manhattan is hosting a winter movie series.

TRIBECA, NY — If you're looking for a mid-week pick-me-up during February, Brookfield is screening free movies for the next four Wednesdays in its spacious atrium.

The upscale mall in Tribeca in lower Manhattan will show movies and serve free popcorn every Wednesday for the next four weeks starting Feb. 22. Showtime starts at 7 p.m.

  • Feb. 22: "Guardians of the Galaxy"
  • March 1: "Midnight in Paris"
  • March 8: "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon"
  • March 15: Viewers' choice; you can vote for "Moonrise Kingdom," "O Brother, Where Art Thou," or "Romeo and Juliet" on the event page.
