Police Are On The Lookout For FiDi Assault And Robbery Suspect: NYPD
Diego Diaz, 19, allegedly pulled a knife out on a 84-year-old man and stole his watch and cell phone in the Financial District, police said.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — Police are on the lookout for a Downtown Brooklyn teenager wanted in connection with the Aug. 7 assault and robbery of a 84-year-old man in the Financial District, according to the NYPD.
Last Sunday, Diego Diaz, pictured above and depicted in a surveillance video, allegedly approached an elderly man, demanded money and then proceeded to pull out a knife on him after pushing the 82-year-old man to the ground at 55 Exchange Place. Afterwards, he stole a cell phone and watch, worth approximately $900 combined, police reported.
The suspect fled eastbound on Exchange Place on foot, the crime was reported at 1:10 a.m. and the victim was treated for his injuries at the scene, the NYPD added.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance to identify the whereabouts of the following individual in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 1st Precinct. Details are as follows:
