1983 East Islip Redmen football ride again for charity!
35 years after a Rutgers Cup trophy these Redmen reunite to raise money for Special Olympics.
5 years ago Charlie Serra and Paul Jordan started playing charity football at MetLife Stadium in a tournament design to raise money for New Jersey Special Olympics . This Snow Bowl is sponsored by the New York Giants . After 4 years of competing with SNY Sports Charlie and Paul decided to call on some old friends. The roster included Dave Cleary, Dave Barry, Joe Pedone, Dave Halter, Paul Torre, John Carpluk, Pat McIntee, Paul Jordan, and Charlie Serra. Many bumps and bruises but they are looking forward to playing again next year and hopefully pulling some more alumni players.
