• Stony Brook Children's Hospital announces program to support student mental health across local school districts (sbstatesman.com) — East Islip students now have direct access to Stony Brook Children’s CARE program, offering rapid psychiatric assessments, short-term counseling, and follow-up support through their school district. Launched in September, the hybrid in-person and telehealth service partners with seven Suffolk districts and aims to remove insurance and language barriers so local families can quickly find appropriate mental and emotional health care for their children.
