Dominick Barbato, 25, Running for East Islip School Board

A fresh, new perspective for the East Islip Board of Education. Elect Dominick Barbato on May 17th at the ECC Building.

Dominick Barbato, 25, is running for East Islip's Board of Education Trustee Position. A lifelong resident of East Islip, Dominick has been active in the community since he was a young kid. Dominick graduated from East Islip High School in 2014 and then went to college, earning a degree in Finance and a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership. Dominick has always been passionate about education and believes that every child deserves the opportunity to receive the highest possible quality of learning. Dominick decided to run for the East Islip Board of Education because he wants to be an advocate for students, their families, and the East Islip community. As a trustee, Dominick plans to work tirelessly to ensure more transparency in our school budget, cut wasteful spending, and bring back programs students love. Every student deserves equal access to the resources and programs that move them.

If elected, Dominick plans to focus on increasing transparency and communication between the Board of Education and the community. Dominick intends to work collaboratively with parents and teachers to identify and address the needs of all students. With your vote and support on May 17th, we can make a change together.
