East Islip 2025-26 School Budget Results Are In
See whether the East Islip Union Free School District's budget passed this year.
EAST ISLIP, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the East Islip Union Free School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2025-26 school budget by a margin of 1,678 yes votes to 653 no votes.
The district's budget is $41,185,292, up 2.03 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $78,047,231, up 2.93 percent.
For the open East Islip Board of Education seat held by incumbent trustee Timothy Sassone, he was reelected with 1,842 votes while Nichelle Rivers received 411 votes.
