• Stony Brook Children's Hospital announces program to support student mental health across local school districts (sbstatesman.com) — Students in the East Islip school district now have direct access to Stony Brook Children’s new CARE program, which offers rapid psychiatric assessments, short-term counseling, and follow-up support. Launched in September, the hybrid in-person and telehealth service partners with seven Suffolk districts and aims to remove insurance and language barriers so local families can get timely, equitable mental health care.
