ISLIP, NY — East Islip High School’s varsity cheer team is going to the happiest place on earth.

Coached by Ariel Scharfschwerdt, the team recently earned two bids to compete at the Universal Cheerleaders Association’s National High School Cheerleading Championship from Feb. 6 to 10 at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
