The East Islip Beautification Committee and The East Islip Community Chamber of Commerce once again honored their local heroes in East Islip this past Memorial Day! The Banners honor the home town heroes that served in the military, fire department or police departments. The Banners are displayed each year from Memorial Day to just after Independence Day. There was an addition of 43 banners this year. America Flags are also hung on the historic lampposts along with the banners, courtesy of Lennon Flags!
