East Islip 'Scholar-Athlete' To Play For Adelphi
The senior will play baseball for Adelphi University next fall.
EAST ISLIP, NY — One East Islip student-athlete is playing at the collegiate level next year.
East Islip High School senior Anthony Rigogliosi signed a national letter of intent on Sunday, to play baseball for Adelphi University next fall.
His major is undecided.

An outfielder, Rigogliosi is a three-year starter on the Redmen varsity team that went on to win the Long Island championship in 2021, the district said.
In 2022, he received the Scholar-Athlete award and the Suffolk County Baseball Association’s All-League award.
