EAST VILLAGE, NY — The driver of a pricey SUV wound up on the FDR Drive bike path Friday morning and managed to wedge the vehicle between the roadway and a Con Edison building, police said.

The car was cruising northbound on the bike lane when the driver crammed it into a narrow stretch of path near East 15th Street and Avenue C, crumpling part of the Porsche into the Con Edison building, authorities said.
