Man Steals $2.5K In Goods From Car In The East Village: Police
Polices say the man took thousands of dollars worth of clothes and fancy gadgets.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — A man stole nearly $2,500 worth of clothes and electronics from a car that was parked in the East Village last week, police said.
Officers are still searching for the man, who can be seen on surveillance footage unloading packages and bags of merchandise from the car. Police say the man broke into the car, parked on 11th Street near Avenue B, on Wednesday at about 11 p.m. The man took $2,459 worth of belongings from the car, police said. Surveillance footage shows the man unloading the packages from the front seat of the car.
Police are still searching for the man, who they say is about 35 years old. The parked car, and the packages inside it, belong to 48-year-old man, police said.
