Obama and the girls enjoyed the meal together, followed by a conversation on finding healthy food choices and urban farming, which the girls are learning about at the club. In fact, some of the ingredients in the lunch they ate came from their rooftop garden.
The teens were told they could ask Obama any question they'd like and one seized on the chance to ask why she hasn't run for president.

"I don't want to be president," Obama told the girls, video shows. "My path has never been politics; I just happened to marry somebody whose passion was politics."
The visit came after Obama's Friday book signing of her autobiography, "Becoming," at the Union Square Barnes & Noble, which drew long lines of New Yorkers looking to land an autographed copy of her memoir. On Saturday night, Obama spoke at a sold-out book tour event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
