Police are searching for a man who "grabbed a woman's groin area" as she waited on the subway platform, according to the NYPD.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — Police are searching for a subway groper who they say grabbed a woman's groin while she was waiting for a 4 train earlier this month.
The woman, 43, was waiting on a subway platform inside the Union Square subway station at about 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 before the incident, according to police. The man, believed to be in his 50s, approached the woman and "grabbed her groin area" before running away, police said.
Police released a surveillance photo of the man on Friday and are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating him.
