Springs resident Elsie Garretson died at the age of 101. Garretson was a member of the Ladies' Village Improvement Society of East Hampton, which honored her and fellow centenarian Camilla Jewett in August of 2011 when they reached the century mark. Garretson's funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the East Hampton Presbyterian Church.
