Here are the top stories today in East Hampton:
- Celebrate Hanukkah all across town and at home. The next seven nights will feature virtual services with Temple Adas Israel at 6 p.m. each night. Temple members will have received emails containing direct links to the Zoom services. Chabad of the Hamptons festivities continue on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Amagansett Fire Department and next Sunday at noon at the Montauk green. See more events. (East Hampton Star)
- Bestselling Books Of 2021 At East End Bookstores. In spite of the digital sales juggernaut, local brick-and-mortar booksellers continue to thrive in the Hamptons and North Fork, and that's because our community continues to read! We asked some of our favorite bookstores what books sold the most this month and in 2021, and they happily supplied their top three bestsellers for both. Take a look and see if any of them might pique your interest to read by the fire this holiday season. (Dan's Papers)
- Holiday Events On Long Island: Looking for something fun to do this holiday season? Whether it is a tree or menorah lighting or a winter festival, here is a guide to some fun, holiday events. Check before heading out, as times and dates are subject to change. (LINews12)
