The Clam Bar At Napeague Celebrates 44 Years With New 'Shuck Truck'

AMAGANSETT, NY — It's a sure sign of summer on the East End: The popular Clam Bar at Napeague has announced they will open for the 2025 season on Friday, April 11 — celebrating 44 years in business.
The classic seaside snack shop is located at 2025 Montauk HIghway in Amagansett.
New this season is the "Shuck Truck," a refurbished, retro 66’ Citroen H van, available for private events.

Owners Kelly and John Piccinnini said they "searched low and high" to source and locally restore a classic 66’ Citroen H van for the "Shuck Truck" and were thrilled to find the gem.
The Piccinninis said they felt it was very important to match the authentic retro vibe at the Clam Bar to the new catering truck that will be bringing their delicious fare to diners' homes.

The “Shuck Truck” will be available to rent for private events and packages can be tailored accordingly, with the truck featuring live-shucked clams and oysters, shrimp cocktail and accompanying wines, spritzes and cocktails. “Now we can bring the Clam Bar to life in your backyard. We hear regularly that our customers don’t just come to us for the food, they also come for the atmosphere, the staff, the music, etc. So whether you are hosting a wedding welcome gathering, a clam bake with friends, or your child’s birthday party, the Shuck Truck will allow us to create a curated full-service experience featuring the Clam Bar vibe," Kelly and John Piccinnini said.
The iconic Hamptons eatery will once again dish up its popular seafood classics, including lobster rolls, New England clam chowder, lobster BLTs, fish and chips and more. Catering to-go orders such as curated lunch boxes and mini lobster roll platters are available; orders must be placed three days in advance.
The Clam Bar is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week beginning at 11:30 a.m., weather permitting. Takeout is available..
