Don't Miss: Amagansett School 'Then and Now'
Student-produced film looks back at last the Amagansett School's last 200 years.

In celebration of their school's 200-year anniversary, sixth graders in the Amagansett School have worked on the comprehensive "Then & Now" project, a student-produced film that looks at the district over the past two centuries.
The yearlong project is comprised of photographs, cultural materials, as well as first-hand interviews that were conducted with Amagansett alumni.
Superintendent Eleanor Tritt said: "Through the collaborative efforts of our students and the community we were able to produce this priceless piece of cinematography that contrasts where we have been with where we are today.”
The production will be available for the public to view on Wednesday, May 8, at 1 p.m., with alumni welcome at noon for a light lunch and conversation.
Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by May 8, and can do so in three ways:
- Send an email to thenandnow@aufsd.org with your name,
- Call the school at 631-267-3572,
- Visit the district website at www.aufsd.org for the form and mail it to: Then and Now, Amagansett School, P.O. Box 7062, Amagansett, NY, 11930-7062
